Well, as of TODAY he is finished! Awarded his PhD from the University of Aberdeen (Scotland).
For the past 7 years, my husband has beautifully balanced family life, full-time pastoral ministry, and all the researching/writing/trips to Scotland that this degree required. We are so proud of him! And so thankful he is finished!

For those interested, his dissertation is on the Covenant Theology of Zacharias Ursinus (author of the Heidelberg Catechism). Please don't ask me if I've read it. : )
We are SO proud of Todd and proud of you and your kids for standing by him through all his studying and preparations! And don't worry - I wouldn't have read the dissertation either! :)

ReplyDeleteVery small world! I've been following your blog on and off and just read this most recent post. My husband too has a Phd in Theology from Aberdeen - we are British and now live in CA. My husband works for Biola University. Congrats - that's a huge deal and a very small world!!
